My wife and I own a 17 year old truck that has a very rare transmission. After looking for nearly a year for a replacement we called Chip's as a last resort. As it turned out we should have called them first. They knew exactly what we were up against and had a solution in a short time. They were nearly 1/2 the price of what the dealership wanted or any other shop we checked. They also had the best warranty. We have been very pleased with the results. With one week left on the warranty the transmission began to act up a bit and again we took it to Chip's. After a short road trip they could find nothing wrong yet they knew I was not happy with it's performance. They had me to leave it overnight so they could check it again. It turned out to be going bad so again they did a complete rebuild with another warranty and did not cost us one penny. The truck runs like new again! Every time we have gone down to their shop they have made us feel as if we were important to them. Prompt service, very courteous and informative. As a retired ASE certified Master Mechanic, Chip has earned my respect and all of my family's business from now on. I would not recommend any other transmission shop other than Chip's Transmissions.
